Associate's Degree CPR Required RN Required Aspirus was recently recognized as one of the 15 Top Health Systems in the country by IBM Watson in their annual study identifying the top-performing health systems based on overall organizational performance. POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for Nurses to join our Float Pool. The Primary entity for this position would be Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Their first Unit assigned would be St. Point Med/Surg if needed and if not they would work at Wausau Hospital. There is a differential for Float Pool Nurses of $5.00/hr in addition to the RN base rate and shift and weekend/holiday differentials. These nurses would be trained/oriented as they are at AWH for float pool. We will orient them to the CTU and IMC units as well as the general med/surg units Mileage and other associated expenses would be paid for traveling to St. Point LOCATION: Aspirus Wausau and Stevens Point Campus SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills: The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data. We are looking for an RN with at least one year of acute care experience for our Float Pool. Critical care desired but not required ACLS/EKG required EDUCATION Candidates should possess one or more of the following: Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license. Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
