POSITION OVERVIEW - NEW RN GRADUATES
If you are looking to pursue your passion and work with an organization that values leadership, creativity and initiative, Aspirus has openings for newly graduating RN's. We have a Nurse Residency program that helps support you in your first year of nursing. Once you are hired into a position in a certain department, you are automatically part of the Residency program. One day a month for the first year you spend time with all the other new graduates. You are given additional resources and are truly supported. Aspirus believes in giving you the best foundation possible to start off your nursing career.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing cares provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data. Nurses need to be capable of staying calm when faced with difficult people who are making demands in an environment where the stakes are high.
EDUCATION
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license or soon to be eligible to take your NCLEX.
Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
