We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join our team in Carlisle, PA.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing quality care and occupational health services. Responsibilities:
Perform various occupational health assessments and treatments.
Utilize procedural skills, including suturing and laceration repairs.
Read basic X-rays and provide accurate interpretations.
Collaborate with medical expert panels and coach back-office staff to enhance leadership skills.
Directly impact patients' lives by delivering high-quality care and fostering positive change. Requirements:
Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) license in the state of Pennsylvania (PA).
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification (if applicable).
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program OR an accredited PA program or university.
Comfortable seeing pediatric patients aged two years and older.
Proficiency in basic suturing/laceration repairs and basic X-ray reads.
DOT certification is preferred but not mandatory for the application.
We will reimburse the cost and provide a bonus of up to $1000 for completing the DOT certification before starting. Schedule:
Duration: 10/02/2023 - 04/01/2024
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Hourly Rate:
