Position Summary: 

As a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) you will be part of an amazing interdisciplinary team environment. You will work under the general supervision of the unit’s director and you will assume responsibility for the direction and the coordination of all functions in the PACU Department on your designated shifts. You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients and to provide direction and supervisions to other staff caring for patients. 

 

Here is some of what you can expect from being a PACU Clinical Nurse Coordinator with us:

  • You will provide overall management for patient care in the PACU. 
  • You will ensure patient care satisfaction, quality, and safety and promotes optimal patient outcomes. 
  • You will assist in completion of performance evaluations, counseling, and coaching of staff. 
  • You will participate in hiring staff and in day-to-day operational supervision. 
  • You will conduct team meetings, staff development, and education. 
  • You will be responsible for developing and evaluating performance initiatives for assigned units. 

 

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license. 
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
