SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem
Henrico Doctors' Hospitals is a 767 licensed bed facility that consists of five community campuses, Henrico, Parham and Retreat Doctors' Hospitals, West Creek Emergency Center and Hanover Emergency Center.

Shift Information
Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm with rotating weekends from 8am – 12pm
Responsibilities

Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to provide nursing care to the Infusion / Pain management patient.

Performs job tasks to ensure personal, patient and departmental safety

Performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care according to the nursing process for assigned patients in the Infusion/ Pain management program

Functions in an organized and time conscious manner. Demonstrates leadership in the delegation of components of the nursing plan to appropriate professional and non-professional staff

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of pathophysiology and disease management and understands the role of infusion/pain management therapy and how it relates to disease processes, including oncology

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Chemotherapy agents

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and skill in the caring for all types of infusion lines, including but not limited to ports, pic lines, and cook lines

Initiates and documents patient teaching including family and/or significant others. Uses appropriate patient education documentation according to plan of care for the infusion/pain management patient
