We are seeking a Surgical Services Manager for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. • You will manage the OR and Central Sterile in this Surgical Services Manager position.
• You will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a productive manner.
• You will demonstrate interdepartmental support and teamwork through a supportive and collaborative approach.
• You will ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures, mandatory requirements, and licensure and certification requirements.
• You will respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues.
• Your role provides direction and acts as resource to other members of the specialty team to ensure comprehensive and safe patient care.
• Your role is responsible for circulating cases as needed to surgical patients.
• You will collaborate with staff and the director to plan and implement high quality patient care.
• Your role entails potential for exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center’s Hazardous Drug Policy as either hazardous or antineoplastic. All facility-endorsed risk mitigation strategies for handling hazardous medications must be followed appropriately.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
• Current Tennessee RN license
• BS/BSN preferred
• Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider upon hire
• Current ACLS certification or must be acquired within six months of hire
