Medical Intensive Care Unit Memorial Hospital of Tampa’s 12-bed intensive care unit provides highly skilled nursing for critically ill patients. Using advanced patient monitoring technology and sophisticated medical equipment, we provide continuous, comprehensive care for patients with serious conditions, including those recovering from heart attacks, surgery, stroke, severe accidents or complex illnesses.
To meet each patient's unique needs, we follow a multi-disciplinary approach that involves doctors, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists, physical and respiratory therapists and social services. Our team is dedicated to providing expert healthcare and to treating patients with the compassion and respect they deserve. A large nurse workstation, located right outside the patient rooms, enables the ICU nursing staff to respond quickly to emergencies or any other patient need. - Number of Staff: 22

- Complete computerized charting ("Electronic Health Record") for patient assessment and care documentation via Meditech
- Electronic medication administration record (eMAR) is used for the delivery of all medications provided to patients and has significantly reduced errors associated with the administration of medication hospital-wide

Qualifications Education - Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
Licensing/Certifications - Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
