As a Registered Nurse in our Wound Care Clinic, you will be joining a team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our patients.  You will be providing wound care crafted specifically to individual patient needs, and administered by some of the most highly skilled and trained providers in the region.

 

What you will do in this role:

 

  • You will be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • You will direct and oversee all nursing care for the department-specific patient population in accordance with the standards of nursing care and practice as defined by our hospital and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
  • You will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • You will support the organization's vision and mission and utilize knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
  • You will contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
  • You will utilize knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity in the provision of care.

What qualifications you will need for this role:

 

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure in the State of Kansas a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • ACLS
  • ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course
  • Dysrhythmia course
  • PALS
  • Dysrhythmia course
  • Wound Care RN experience or 2 to 3 years of Acute Care or Critical Care experience required
