SCHEDULE: Full-time

SCHEDULE: 0.9 FTE (32 hours per week), SHIFT: Nights with rotating weekends.


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) serves as a key member of the unit based leadership team. The CNC is responsible for managing patient-centered care coordination within the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the hospitals’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.


Qualifications

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid CA RN License Required

BLS Required

ACLS within 30-days

NIH Stroke Required

Bachelor's Degree Required

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

5+ years applicable clinical nursing experience
2+ years in a lead role with demonstrated leadership and management proficiency

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system. 

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must read, write and verbally communicate in the English language. 

Must maintain confidentiality.
