Job Summary:
  • You will have oversight for Behavioral Health quality and patient safety aspects for all programs (inpatient and outpatient).
  • Your role initiates and facilitates coordination of Behavioral Health quality, regulatory and performance improvement activities
  • You will perform ongoing medical record review timely and accurately with identification of improvement strategies.
  • You will conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Serious Event Analysis (SEA) when indicated and reports to appropriate entities (i.e. corporate, PSO and regulatory bodies).
  • Your role facilities Behavioral Health workgroup and Behavioral Health Quality Committee including committee activities and follow up.
  • Your role coordinates data abstraction, reporting and analysis of Behavioral Health quality data and HBIPS metrics.
  • You will participate in active rounding on all Behavioral Health campuses/departments to observe practices, perform gap assessments, provide in-time education and advise leadership, staff, medical staff and other professionals.  
  • Your role provides ongoing monitoring for patient safety aspects to identify gaps including daily safety huddles and communication of findings.   
  • Your role assists in the coordination of the Behavioral Health Infection Prevention program with Market Director Infection Prevention.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current TN RN licensure or Compact Licensure in State of Residence.
  • Experience: 2 years of clinical experience required with at least two years of quality experience preferred.
