Job Summary
The Medical/Surgical Cardiac North
Tower Unit is a 45 bed fast paced unit that includes the post-surgical cardiac
patient population. This is a fast paced unit where we focus on patient
satisfaction, quality and teamwork together. You will provide safe and
effective nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. We provide
care to patients with a primary cardiac diagnosis, including congestive heart
failure, chest pain, and arrhythmias. We
are trained to begin specific antiarrhythmic drugs, including IV Cardizem, IV
Amiodarone, and oral Sotalol.

Qualifications
Current license as a RN
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
1+ Years of experience as a RN in an Acute Care setting preferred
Customer service abilities including
effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the
ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced
environment. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing,
bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment
up to 50 pounds.
