Here is some of what you can expect
from being a Pre-Op PACU Registered Nurse with us:
- You will oversee and direct the care of the pre-surgical/post-procedural
patient.
- You will serve as the primary nurse leading the
collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- You will oversee and direct the care of assistive
personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned
patients.
- You will deliver care, which is based on criteria that
is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural,
safety, and learning needs of the individual patients.
- You may be asked to rotate/float to areas other than
your assigned service area, and you will perform only those duties for
which you have demonstrated competency.
What qualifications you will need:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a
Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse
license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification through the American Heart
Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS certification.
- Graduate from an accredited
school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- One
(1) year minimum experience in PACU or Critical Care as a RN required.
