this unit: 36 Bed Unit focused on Medical Surgical
Patients and Oncology Patients Variety of modalities including: medical,
pulmonary, GI, COPD, Asthma, Renal, Surgery patients, Oncology, GIP Program
partnership DEU Unit for Capstone and Clinical Students,
opportunities for preceptorship Strong Team environment, collaborative and
supportive, with development for career growth, educator on unit.
Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Director,
Manager or Nurse Manager, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes
individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing
care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with
hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA
Standards of Practice and the generic and unit structure standards.
