the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Float Pool RN like you to be
a part of our team.
The Float Pool RN will be responsible for professional
nursing care and related assistance to patients with a broad range of
illnesses. You will be involved in direct
and indirect patient care. You will provide direction to licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) and other non-licensed
nursing personnel in providing direct patient care. You will support the medical care of
patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of
the hospital. - You will perform patient assessments/reassessments on a regular
basis in accordance with established policy.
- You will in collaboration with interdisciplinary members of the
team, formulate a plan of care including expected outcomes for each patient
based on diagnoses derived from patient assessments.

You will perform skills proficiently and in accordance with the standards of care.
- You will evaluate the patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes.

Qualifications Experience - Experience as a Staff Nurse in an acute care setting: Require
Education Current Texas RN license (or current
compact RN licensure in approved state if claiming residency in other state) ACLS required through AHA or Red Cross in: L&D, ED, PACU,
Endo, ICU, Imaging, OR (only if performing moderate sedation activities). New
hires have 90 days to obtain ACLS, ER 6 months. BLS certification through the AHA or Red Cross: Required TNCC: Required in ED
