We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator in the Cardiac ICU at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care; provision of ADL and hygiene, passing water, changing linens, feeding patients when required, checking of vital signs, weight and height checks, etc. This position will also assist in patient admission process, answer call lights and monitor patients. The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for greeting and directing families and visitors to patient rooms, answering phones, reviewing orders on EPIC, scheduling appointments for patients and assembling discharge paperwork.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant program and current inclusion in the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Current BLS Certification, or obtained within 90 days of hire
Hours: Full-Time, 72 hours per two-week pay period - 12 hour shifts 630-1900 or 1830-0700 & every other weekend and holiday
