We are seeking a Hospice Triage Registered Nurse (RN) at Aspirus Hospice - Homecare in Wausau, WI who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Possesses a diploma from an accredited School of Nursing with one year of geriatric/rehabilitative nursing experience and an active RN license for the state of Wisconsin.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin RN license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Course or the American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Course including a hands-on skills practice session with an AHA ACLS or PALS instructor or by using a voice assisted manikin (VAM) system.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license required.
• Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability.
Hours: 40 hours per week
