Experienced Registered Nurse needed as a RN Supervisor

Join a 200+ bed hospital that is looking for a full-time Nurse Leader. This hospital has over 25 medical specialties as well as 14 surgical services and 13 state of the art surgical suites. They pride themselves in being able to provide care typically only seen at larger teaching hospitals on a more personal level. 

Job Description:

Shift: Days, 10+ hr/shift, rotate weekends

Supervises daily staff activities for the organization.  Responsible for carrying through with the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling nursing clinical practice and associate management functions for assigned periods in the hospital setting.  Establishes standards of practice and performance improvement methods to monitor and achieve hospital and department goals.  Serves as support and resource to hospital managers and hospital personnel on assigned shifts. 

Provides supervisory coverage for the Nursing Departments, other patient care areas and the hospital in general, during assigned shifts and/or after-hours. Assists physicians and staff in assigning admission status serves as a reference and resources person for staff, patient and family; coordinates patient care with other departments.

Requirements:

• BSN Required
• BLS & ACLS required
• 4+ years acute care nursing experience required
• 2+ years experience in a lead/charge/supervisory role
