We are seeking a REGISTERED NURSE in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to work as a Triage Nurse in our Clinic.
The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process when assisting with the delivery of primary health care and patient care management in the clinic setting. The RN performs a wide variety of patient care activities including documentation within the medical record. The RN utilizes nursing skills when assessing and triaging patients and recommending follow-up are. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with nursing practice, clinic policies and observance of confidentiality of patient information. This position will be primarily Triage, but may work as a Clinic RN as needed.
The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
§ Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program.
§ Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
§ Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
